Masaba Gupta is an Indian fashion designer. She is the talented daughter of West Indian cricketer Vivian Richards and Indian actress Neena Gupta. She was born and raised in Mumbai where at the age of 8, she dreamed of being a tennis player but later dropped the idea. Masaba was passionate about dance and music and so she learnt dance with Shiamak Davar and also took up a course in music in London. Finally she joined SNDT University, Mumbai from where she graduated in 2009 with a diploma in Apparel Manufacture and Design. The designer has been successful in making an impact in the fashion industry with her quirky, yet feminine drapes and silhouettes.
