Nachiket Barve is an Indian fashion designer. He is an alumnus of the National Institute of Design (NID) as well as a scholarship holder at Ecole Nationale Superieur des arts Decoratifs, Paris. Nachiket launched his eponymous label as a part of the Gen Next at Lakme Fashion Week and has shown many acclaimed collections since. He was the first Indian designer to be invited to show at the Buenos Aires Fashion Week in Argentina, as well as at Coterie in New York. The designer won the “Young Fashion Entrepreneur of the Year” award by The British Council and Elle in the year 2010 and represented India in London. The label stands for modern, progressive design that’s clever yet commercial, timely yet timeless.
