Rohit Bal is an Indian fashion designer. He was born in Kashmir. Bal graduated from Burn Hall School in Srinagar and then received a Bachelor's degree in history from St. Stephens College. He also studied at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). Rohit Bal started his career with his brother in New Delhi in the year 1986. Later in 1990 he started his own independent collection. Bal designs for both men and women. He owns flagship stores in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Chennai. Bal has also ventured into designing fashion jewellery.
