Gaurav Gupta Biography

Gaurav Gupta is an Indian fashion designer. An alumnus of Central Saint Martin’s College, London, Gaurav’s work began to be recognized early on with honours like‘The Future of Couture’ trophy at Altaroma Altamoda at the Rome Couture Fashion Week and ‘The Roots of Creativity’ title at the Mittelmoda Fashion Awards in Italy besides other recognitions in Japan, Russia and India as a breakthrough designer. Gaurav works very closely with lines and the motion of fabric. Embroideries in three dimensions, volume play and extempore draping have created a signature look that is hard to place but is reminiscent of a familiar classic.
