Arpita Mehta is a talented young Indian fashion designer. She graduated in apparel manufacture and dress design from S.N.D.T. University in Mumbai and went on to win the most glamorous designer of the year award in her graduating fashion show. Then she worked under renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra for two years. Arpita Mehta started her own label in the year 2007. Her collections comprise of contemporary ethnic as well as fusion ensembles largely focusing on intricate embroidery consisting of vibrant anchor threads and mirror work. Arpita has her own studio in Juhu, Mumbai. She has also showcased her collection at the Lakme Fashion Week 2013.
