Payal Khandwala is an Indian fashion designer. Born in the year 1974, Payal spent her childhood days in Mumbai. She graduated in Fashion Design from SNDT University, Mumbai. In the year 1994, Payal received the Designer of the Year title in a nationwide competition hosted by Shoppers' Stop. She had also interned under fashion designer Krishna Mehta before heading to New York to pursue a degree on scholarship from the Parsons School of Design. Payal Khandwala launched her eponymous label in 2012. Her works have been widely showcased in Mumbai, Delhi, New York, Barcelona, London, Singapore and Tokyo.
